New Bento Supplies! on Flickr.
Today, these two glorious packages were in my mail box. My new bento’s I’d ordered for school with some freelancing money I’d received in the last few days. I needed some new bento gear for my venture off to college since some of the boxes and bits I currently own are broken or missing. I completely ran out of food cups (I’ll upgrade to reusable when I have a bit more cash), and some of my bento picks were warped from heat (I used them when things were still hot. Totally learned that lesson.) Anywho, I have a bento that I’m absolutely in love with. The size is perfect for me and it’s my favourite to use. The bad thing, though, is that my ex boyfriend destroyed the top design when he was washing dishes. Mind, you, there’s nothing wrong with the bento itself. I’m just mad that my beautiful bento was destroyed. Anyway, I’ve always wanted to buy another one, but I couldn’t find it anywhere! and the place I’d bought it from had sold me the last one. One night I’d been looking at the bento selection on Ebay and found a Pink version of the same bento! The price started at .99 cents and had three hours left to bed. You bet I went after it! I won, too! I’m still waiting on that in the mail. It should be here sometime soon, I hope. That’s what started this craziness you see here. I’ve had my eye on a sandwich bento for quite some time. I found this one on Ebay as well from Bento Obento Shop. She even sent me a sauce bottle as a free gift! How she’d known I needed one of those is beyond me. I’m glad she sent it though.~ The rest of this loveliness came from All Things For Sale. They have the best bento selection for people on with a tight budget in my opinion. Everywhere else I’ve been to have bento starting at about $8. I think the lowest price I’ve seen them go for a bento was $3! That’s a steal in my eyes. I plan to get so much more from these guys. I’ll probably be using the sandwich bento for my ride down to Ft. Lauderdale this Thursday. Of course I plan on posting it, and a review on it.
‘Til next time!

Bento 3: Almost Breakfast Bento on Flickr.
This was supposed to be a normal breakfast, but I couldn’t help myself when I saw my bento box. I’m finally getting how to correctly make Tamagoyaki in terms of layering! I was aways putting the entire egg mixture into the pan but you’re actually supposed to pour a little, roll it, pour more, etc. Keep going until you finish the entire mixture. The Tamigoyaki has a bit of my stir fry that I made in the middle. That might be why it has a bit of a hill instead of being so uniformed. We also had some extra melon left in the fridge and I threw that in too. So good.~

Bento 2: Light Saturday Breakfast on Flickr.
I’ve been up. All night. To think I haven’t even restarted college yet! I had to get some work done along with some other procrastination that I’ve thought up. Anyway, I didn’t want to eat too heavily before finally dropping off to sleep. So I made a quick mini breakfast and fit it to my bento so I wouldn’t be tempted to overeat. I’ve got a grilled tomato and cheese sandwich in the middle, some grilled salmon from the bbq that we had on Labor Day, some bacon (for the sake of tradition and I really really freakin’ love bacon. xD) and some tamagoyaki. This time I did it right too! I did the egg little by little until it was finished and got more swirlage to it. I’m pretty happy with myself.
I should post my first recipe sometime soon. I’ve been missing an ingredient and tomorrow I should finally be able to go to the store and get it. Stay tuned.~
